The HOWPAY field's values define the method a user or buyer has selected to pay our fees or commissions, or to pay a Shopping System vendor for the products for which the buyer has placed an order, bid or offer.
- We offer only the following options for the payment of our fees and commissions: C = Credit Card and P = Paper Check (we will print the check).
- If vendors offer one or more of the above Payment Options, our forms will capture the appropriate account information from the buyer and make it available to the vendor ONLY when the sale occurs and the buyer did not select Escrow handling.
- Vendors may specify other payment options that are to be offered to their buyers (ie Call For Payment Info). When these other options are selected, we simply inform the vendor of the selection, and do not capture any other information.
